BULB GENERAL (7) couldn't be stopped last campaign, culminating in a 2.8L victory as the $1.50 favourite before the break. His latest trial was very good under Purton and he remains in the saddle for his return. Has shown plenty of promise in his early career and can pick up from where he left off. PATCH OF STARS (4) missed by 1.3L as the favourite 63 days ago and now lines up for Bowman on the back of a strong trial recently, beating Bulb General there. The draw should see him get every chance in running and he rates highly in this. SKY TRUST (1) won in a photo two back before a 1.3L defeat last time out. Back in grade today is a bonus and Wong's claim comes in handy. Can feature in the finish on his recent form. MAGNIFIQUE (6) was doing it on the turf before turning to the All Weather recently. Form is strong on both surfaces however and he's not to be discounted.
