OLDTOWN (1) won narrowly first-up before getting a long way back over 7f most recently, finishing strongly to be 2.3L off the winner. J-Mac rides now and he draws a much better gate this time around. Suspect getting to the mile is a big tick for him and he can bounce back to winning ways. AUDACIOUS PURSUIT (5) was caught wide in the run from a wide gate last time out and was only caught late in the race, beaten a head. Bowman rides again and the better gate this time is significant. Can go one better this time around. THE GOLDEN KNIGHT (8) gets out to the mile now which looks a big tick for him after missing as the race favourite last time out. He may be able to sit a touch closer up in trip now and with further improvement expected, he can land the knockout blow. BRIGHT INHERITANCE (4) just missed last start over this track and trip 35 days ago and can make his presence felt.
