Verdict

LEADING DRAGON (10) led them up last start with no weight on his back and he wasn't caught until late, beaten 0.5L. Yuen remains in the irons and he draws to find the front yet again. He'll be better for the run at 6f and he can go one better this time around. TOP THRONE (11) has finished 2L away his past couple, including behind Leading Dragon last time out, but now he gets Purton in the saddle from a good draw. He won't have to do too much work early and he'll be hard to hold out. HAPPY SMILE (5) is on debut for the Jamie Richards barn with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle. Avdulla hasn't been on board for his trials, but his latest heat was promising. Can play a role on debut. MALPENSA (9) is better than he showed last time out on the All Weather and getting back to the turf course may be the key. Won't be far away.
