RUBY THRIVE (8) was excellent fresh when charging home from near the tail to finish second over 5f here, beaten by a length and a half. She backs up quickly and with Zac Purton taking the ride, she looks a serious winning threat despite her racing pattern of settling back in the field. DANCING BLAZE (9) resumes from a spell and has trialled at Sha Tin AW. His latest ninth is best forgotten and he has enough ability to make a strong return, so keep an eye on the market. LOOKING BRIGHT (2) has been knocking on the door, including a narrow second over 6f at Happy Valley. The straight course suits and his recent trial form is encouraging. He gets every chance to break through. HANDSOME HERO (5) was bought out of Australia as a yearling and has impressed with a recent trial win. The debutant has obvious ability and must be respected. CHARMING BABE (3) is proven in this grade with 2 wins from 8 starts, and E HO HO (10) is also a good hope from a suitable draw at this level.
