RISING FORCE (3) has been back to the trials since his last run 28 days ago where he was edged out by 0.5L. He jumped a $2.60 chance there and lost no admirers in the run. Should be prominent in the run again today and he can go one better this time around. HAPPY INDEX (1) couldn't repeat the dose last time out when beaten 1.3L and has won a trial since that effort 38 days ago. The wide draw is a query, but Purton sticks and he does possess some early speed. Tongue Tie goes on today and he can put his best foot forward. EMBRACE ABERDEEN (9) got the job done in easier company last time out when crossing from out wide and proving too strong. Has to do something similar here, but he looks a nice gelding on the rise. Can make his presence felt. RED MAESTRO (7) has shown enough at the trials to suggest he can run a cheeky race here in his HK debut.
