The Miami (FL) Hurricanes‘ defense limited Stanford to six points in their opener, winning on the road by a dominant 45-6 scoreline. The Cardinal accumulated 299 total yards but couldn't consistently finish drives, going just 5-for-17 on third and fourth downs.

Florida A&M's offense hasn't exactly been explosive, either. The Rattlers scored 20 points in their opener against Albany State before managing only 13 in a 31-13 loss to South Carolina State. Quarterback Isaiah Knowles completed 7 of 13 passes for 94 yards in the latter game.

Florida A&M also has a significant rest disadvantage. The Rattlers played South Carolina State on Sunday, September 6, so they'll be taking on Miami on short rest.

The biggest concern with an under is obviously Miami's ability to do most of the scoring itself. However, if the Hurricanes build a huge lead, we could see Cristobal turn to his reserves fairly early as the ‘Canes have an ACC game in Week 3.

Miami’s passing game stole the show against Stanford as Darian Mensah amassed 401 passing yards, with Malachi Toney going off for 12 catches, 234 yards and three TDs.

Star RB Mark Fletcher Jr. was pretty quiet despite the positive game script, handling only 13 carries for 40 yards. As a team, Miami averaged just 3.8 yards per carry.

I think the Hurricanes will want to get their ground game going, and if Miami commits to the run tonight, I’m not sure how much Florida A&M can do about it seeing as they just allowed SC State to run for 292 yards a week ago.
