Today’s Best College Football Prop Bets

Arch Manning Under 251.5 Passing Yards (-114)

Texas vs. Tennessee (Noon ET)

Arch Manning enters this matchup averaging 220.3 passing yards per game, which gives us a solid cushion below this 251.5-yard line. He has gone under this number in two of three games this season, throwing for 196 yards against Ohio State and 161 against UTSA after opening the year with 305 against Texas State.

This also looks like a spot where the Texas Longhorns won't necessarily want Manning throwing 40-plus times. The Longhorns have leaned on a balanced offense, and Manning's mobility gives them another way to move the chains without adding to his passing total.

The Tennessee Volunteers have also been difficult to throw on so far, allowing just 132.0 passing yards per game through its first two contests. The competition level rises dramatically here, but that early defensive performance still makes 252 passing yards a fairly demanding bar for Manning on the road in Neyland Stadium.

DeVon Dampier Over 217.5 Passing Yards (-114)

Utah vs. Iowa State (3:30 p.m. ET)

Dampier has been extremely efficient through his first three games. He has completed 53 of 74 passes (71.6%) for 690 yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception, good for 9.3 yards per attempt. After throwing for only 176 yards in a blowout win over Idaho, he's produced 261 and 253 passing yards in his past two games.

Now he gets his first road game of the season at Iowa State Cyclones, which could actually help this prop by keeping the Utah Utes from running away with the game early. Dampier has attempted 24 and 32 passes over his past two outings, and he needs only 218 yards to get to the over. With his efficiency and a potentially more competitive game script — Utah is 8.5-point favorites — I like Dampier to clear this prop.

LaNorris Sellers Over 226.5 Passing Yards (-114)

South Carolina vs. Alabama (7 p.m. ET)

Sellers is coming off his highest-volume passing performance of the young season. Against Mississippi State, he attempted 40 passes and finished with 282 yards and two touchdowns. Overall this year, Sellers has completed 54 of 86 passes for 648 yards through three games while adding another 172 yards on the ground.

The matchup with the Alabama Crimson Tide could once again force the South Carolina Gamecocks to lean heavily on Sellers. The Gamecocks aren't likely to have the luxury of protecting a comfortable lead, and we've already seen them give Sellers 40 pass attempts when playing from a less favorable script. His passing prop is 226.5 yards, and with Sellers generating 270-plus passing yards in two of his three games, the over is appealing in a game where South Carolina will likely need to air it out.
