Touchdowns are one of the more entertaining plays in sports, and every week brings plenty of opportunities to bet touchdowns in the NFL. Whether it is a star running back getting the bulk of the goal-line work or a wide receiver in a favorable matchup, player usage and matchup data can help identify appealing bets.

Here are our favorite NFL TD bets for this week. We’ll break down the matchup, expected role and other key factors behind each pick to help identify the best anytime touchdown scorer bets available at FanDuel Sportsbook’s NFL odds.

NFL Touchdown Picks Week 1

Quinshon Judkins to Score a TD (+165)

Browns vs. Jaguars (1 p.m. ET)

While it usually doesn’t feel good to back the Cleveland Browns‘ offense, I find Quinshon Judkins‘ TD odds appealing.

Judkins had a pretty nice red-zone role last year as a rookie. In 14 games, he had 10 carries inside the five-yard line and 18 attempts inside the 10. He accounted for 54.5% of the Browns’ inside-the-10 carries, the 10th-best share among all RBs.

Of course, the big negative for Judkins’ scoring chances is how poor Cleveland has been offensively in recent seasons. But I think there are some reasons for a little bit of optimism with the Browns’ O this year thanks to the additions of Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion. Cleveland isn’t going to turn into the Kurt Warner Rams, but I don’t see them being the NFL’s worst offense in 2026 (like they were last season).

Sam LaPorta to Score a TD (+170)

Saints vs. Lions (1 p.m. ET)

The Detroit Lions are listed at -115 odds to go over 28.5 points, giving Sam LaPorta some touchdown equity this week.

LaPorta hit the ground running as a rookie, scoring 10 times in a super debut season. He’s touched paint only 10 total times in the two seasons since then, however, as he scored only three TDs in 2025 due to missing seven games via injury.

LaPorta still has big-play juice for a tight end, posting 10.0 yards per target last year, and he racked up a career-best 54.2 receiving yards per game a season ago.

Plus, he’s operating in a Lions offense that should be among the NFL’s elite once again.

Facing the New Orleans Saints indoors in a game that could turn into a shootout (49.5 total, 6.5 spread), LaPorta can get in the end zone in Week 1.

Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown (-120)

Commanders at Eagles, 4:25 p.m. ET

At these odds, Saquon Barkley is my favorite TD prop for Week 1.

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Commanders on Sunday, and Philly is a 5.5-point favorite. Not only could game script work in Barkley’s favor, the Commanders are just a good matchup overall as Washington allowed the fourth-most yards per play last year (6.0) as well as the fifth-most yards per carry (4.8) and fifth-most rushing scores (16).

Barkley torched Washington in his lone meeting with the Commanders last year, racking up 123 rushing yards and a tuddie. In 2024, he played Washington twice and recorded four total rushing TDs in addition to 296 total rushing yards.

The tush push is always an obstacle for Barkley’s touchdown chances, but he still had 24 carries inside the 10 last year, tied for the 10th-most among all players.

In a game where Philly’s offense can have a lot of success, Barkley’s TD odds catch my eye.
