Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets at a Glance
- De'Aaron Fox Over 14.5 Points (-118)

Saturday's NBA schedule gives bettors a full evening of games to attack, beginning with Heat-Hornets at 6:00 p.m. ET and continuing through Warriors-Suns in the late window.
With the season still young, early-season roles, playing time, and offseason roster changes are especially important when evaluating the NBA player prop market.
Here are three of my favorite NBA player props for tonight’s games.

NBA Prop Bets for Today: Best NBA Props
De'Aaron Fox Over 14.5 Points (-118)
Spurs at Mavericks — 8:00 p.m. ET
De'Aaron Fox - Points
The bar isn't particularly high for De'Aaron Fox, making his scoring over an appealing way to attack Saturday's matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks.
Fox averaged 18.6 points per game across 72 regular-season appearances last year while shooting 48.6% from the field. He cleared Saturday's 14.5-point threshold by more than four points per game on average over that full-season sample.
His scoring volume has been solid to begin this season, too. Fox scored 14 points in San Antonio's opener before putting up 19 against Houston on Friday. He played nearly 34 minutes in the latter matchup, shooting 6-of-11 from the field and 5-of-5 at the free-throw line while adding nine assists.
That gives us 65-plus minutes of early-season evidence that Fox remains a major piece of San Antonio's offense. Even with Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, and Dylan Harper all capable of taking shots, Fox's combination of transition scoring, drives, and free throws provides several avenues to get past 14 points.
The wrist issue that landed Fox on the injury report is worth monitoring on the second night of a back-to-back, but he played through it Friday and logged 34 minutes. Assuming he's active without a minutes restriction, 14.5 is low enough for me to back the over.
Kevin Durant Over 3.5 Assists (-158)
Rockets at Hawks — 8:30 p.m. ET
Kevin Durant - Assists
Kevin Durant remains best known for his scoring, but his passing role with the Houston Rockets gives us an interesting angle against the Atlanta Hawks.
Durant has produced nine assists through Houston's first two games, averaging 4.5 per contest while playing roughly 37 minutes a night. He recorded three assists against Dallas in the opener before handing out six in Friday's 114-110 victory over San Antonio.
The minutes are arguably the most encouraging piece of the equation. Durant has played 37 minutes in each of Houston's first two games, so we're not dealing with an early-season workload restriction. His last two games have also featured just 26 combined field-goal attempts, leaving plenty of possessions in which he's functioning as a facilitator rather than simply hunting his own shot.
Houston has Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith Jr., and other capable finishers around Durant. That makes it difficult for defenses to consistently send extra attention his way without opening a quality shot somewhere else.
Durant has averaged 5.25 assists across his most recent 10 regular-season games dating back to last season, further reinforcing that four assists isn't an aggressive target.
At 3.5, we're asking Durant to reach four assists after he got there in six of his last eight regular-season games entering this year and nearly did it in the lone game this season in which he fell short. His 37-minute workload gives him ample opportunity to get there.
Jamal Murray Under 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Pelicans at Nuggets — 9:00 p.m. ET
Jamal Murray - Pts + Reb + Ast
I'm willing to sell high on expectations for Jamal Murray in the Denver Nuggets' home opener against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Murray was outstanding last regular season, averaging 25.4 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. Those numbers add up to 36.9 points, rebounds, and assists per game -- only 0.4 above Saturday's line.
In other words, FanDuel is essentially asking Murray to reproduce his excellent 2025-26 average immediately, despite what we saw in Denver's season opener.
Murray finished Thursday's 96-84 loss to Oklahoma City with just 6 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists across 37 minutes. That's 19 combined PRA, and he attempted only 11 shots after averaging more than 18 field-goal attempts per game last season.
The rebounding total was also unusual. Murray grabbed 10 boards against Oklahoma City after averaging only 4.4 last season, so even if his scoring rebounds considerably, there's a good chance some of those extra rebounds disappear.
Denver has also added DeMar DeRozan to an offense that already runs heavily through Nikola Jokic. More creators should help the Nuggets as a team, but it could make Murray's path to the kind of massive scoring-and-assist workload he carried at times last season less consistent.
New Orleans is a sizable underdog, too, which adds some blowout risk to a prop requiring Murray to pile up 37 combined statistics. His offense should bounce back from the six-point opener, but this line leaves enough room for improvement while still cashing the under.
NBA Player Prop Bets FAQ
What are NBA player prop bets?
NBA player prop bets are wagers on specific statistical outcomes for individual players during a game — independent of which team wins or loses. You might bet on how many points a star guard scores, whether a big man grabs 10 or more rebounds, or how many assists a point guard dishes out.
What types of NBA player props are available?
FanDuel offers an extensive menu of NBA props. The most common categories include:
- Points — over/under on a player's scoring total
- Rebounds — over/under on total boards (offensive + defensive)
- Assists — over/under on dimes dished
- Three-pointers made — over/under on made threes
- Points + rebounds + assists (PRA) — combined stat total for those three stats
- Double-double or triple-double — yes/no prop on achieving the milestone
How do NBA player prop odds work?
NBA props use the standard American (moneyline) odds format. A negative number indicates how much you must wager to profit $100, while a positive number shows the profit on a $100 bet.
- -115 odds — bet $115 to win $100
- +115 odds — bet $100 to win $115
- -200 odds — bet $200 to win $100
What is a points prop bet in the NBA?
A points prop is a bet on whether a specific player will score over or under a set total. For example, a line might read: LeBron James — Points — Over 24.5 (-110).
Key factors to research before betting points props include the player's recent scoring form, the opposing team's defensive rating and points allowed to their position, pace of play, and how many minutes the player is likely to play.
What is a PRA prop bet for NBA?
PRA stands for Points + Rebounds + Assists — a combined stat prop that totals all three categories into one number. For example, a Nikola Jokic PRA line might be set at 49.5.
PRA props are popular for versatile players because their contributions span multiple statistical categories. They're less volatile than single-stat props since a slow scoring night can be offset by a strong rebounding or passing game.
