VERBOSITY (4) has been up since the start of October and is yet to win in 13 starts for the prep, but has figured in the top four more often than not and hasn't struck as many winnable races as this. Only going down 3.6 lengths in a BM64 at the Warrnambool carnival looks good form for this. COSMIC FIELD (2) showed marked improvement first-up for the new stable, running up to what had been some good trial effort. No reason there won't be even further improvement here from a good draw with the claim. BLISSFUL BAY (6) brings different formlines but might have more upside than most rivals. TAKE ME TO CHURCH (7) stepping out at this track for the first time. Last appeared when he finished fourth over 1m at Terang on April 13. Keep safe.
