SKY JEWELLERY (8) looked the early Derby favourite before a mishap at the trials at the end of last year. He returned with a bang a fortnight ago, running over the top to win easily and returning a new peak figure. Looks set to go on with the job now and he can bring up back-to-back wins. STORMY GROVE (2) won the Classic Cup before a strong performance in the HK Derby last time out. He's been back to the trials since and returns to the mile where he won impressively three starts back. His recent form stacks right up and if the speed is on, he'll be closing strongly. MAX QUE (9) got over the top to win in this grade last time out, scoring by 0.5L as the race favourite. He drops in weight despite the last start win and he's been kept up to the mark with a recent trial. Wouldn't surprise to see him repeat the dose. BEAUTY ETERNAL (6) drops plenty of weight here and his latest trial was solid. Can bounce back to his best now.
