CALIFORNIA STAR (2) won well two back over this track and trip before a 0.8L defeat most recently when getting back in the run from a wide draw. He did close off well there however and now rises to 1 ?m for the first time. That doesn't look an issue with the way he's finished off his past couple and he can go one better this time. HAPPY UNIVERSE (5) flew home to miss behind California Star two back before jumping favourite and ending up 2.5L off the winner last time. He's drawn well again today and he is better than he showed last time out. Can bounce back to his best here. SHANGHAI STYLE (7) steps up in trip for the first time today on the back of a nice trial on this surface recently. Bowman was on board there and he remains in the saddle today. Can sit handy and won't be far away. THE LION KING (8) is on the quick turnaround today after closing nicely from the tail on Sunday. Blinkers go on and he jumps up in trip. There's plenty to like.
