RUN RUN SUNRISE (4) bumped into one first-up before a 0.5L victory over this course and distance when closing off strongly. He looks a nice horse on the rise and the middle draw doesn't matter with his racing pattern. Can go on with the job now. GEORGIAN SIGMA (6) gets the pacifiers on today after sitting up on the speed and being rolled as a $1.60 favourite in his last start. He's had two trials in the last month getting ready for this and Poon remains in the saddle. Can get back to his best. PACKING PHOENIX (3) comes back to 5f today where he's untested. Hewitson draws out wide which suits for the straight course and he's a nice horse on the rise. Can sit handy and make a statement. TURBO JEFFERIES (12) looks a nice gelding on debut for Purton and Hayes and can make an impression.
