Verdict

VIXENETTE (5) went back after missing the kick then went through her gears nicely in the final stages to be beaten just over two lengths over 6 ¾f at Ipswich last start. Crying out for a mile at the fourth run back from a spell. Looks the testing material. LAUNCHER (8) has been chopping and changing distances of late and it shows in the results. Placed two from two at the mile and he won at his only visit to Grafton. In the right race to turn things around. CAPTAIN EAGLE (4) showed pace but weakened in the run home over a slightly longer journey at Doomben last time. Gets a host of gear changes and might be the big improver. JASON DARREN (6) returned to form last start over this distance at the provincials, making it four minor placings from five tries at the mile. Good each-way prospects. ICHIKA (10) has found form and will be hitting the line with gusto again.
