Verdict

IMMORTAL STORM (11) has impressed at both runs and looks ready to break through. Beaten half a length in a hot form race on debut then took a sit before working home well for second over this distance at Port Macquarie last start. Should be going one better with a cosy run assured out of the inside gate. ROCK ON ANGEL (9) is back from a seven-week let-up. Racing okay but has lacked a kick after racing on the speed in recent runs. Blinkers going on could be the key so she demands respect while fresh. MONACO FLYER (3) returns for a second campaign off a 15-week spell. Placed twice in the maiden prep, both times at this circuit. Good enough to test most of these. CHOP CHOP GO (1) is back from a six-month break for a new stable. Didn't impress in Victoria in three starts but recent trials suggest he might have more to offer. DIJON AUTRE (2) showed pace but folded as favourite on debut at Taree five weeks ago. Worth another chance.
