AUDACIOUSLY FRANK (1) was scratched from Scone on Friday and Newcastle Saturday to be kept for this. Impressed last start when lining up for only the second time, charging home to be beaten a whisker over 1m at Kembla. Gai and Adrian hit 40% winners at Grafton and this bloke can add to that record. FIREY TRUTH (4) improved sharply last time out at the second run of the prep, beaten narrowly over 7f at Taree. Unproven at the trip but he is lightly raced and progressing nicely so deserves the benefit of the doubt. AURORA EFFECT (9) has been strong through the line at his last couple, the latest over 1 ?m at Hawkesbury. Must be respected dropping back to a country maiden. EDGE OF INFINITY (11) made it five minor placings from nine starts when runner-up over 6 ½f at Eagle Farm recently. Query at 1 ¹/16m but cannot be ruled out in this company. BASSETT'S CHOICE (10) has had a few chances but is racing well and is worth each-way consideration.
