FIRM AGREEMENT (7) went to Ipswich last start after a couple of indifferent efforts in Sydney and was far too good for a Class 1 field over 1 5/16m. Australian Derby placegetter last season who should go right on with the job now that he is back in form. BARAZIN (2) closed well to be beaten under a length over a similar trip to this at the Gold Coast two back. Less effective over 1 ¼m at Gatton last time but back at this trip he looms as a genuine hope. MISTRESSOFILLUSION (11) did her best work late to get up for third over 1 ?m at the Gold Coast recently. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and she should appreciate the step up in distance at this stage. CLAIM THE CROWN (3) has not raced since finishing a close third over 1 ³/16m at Canterbury five weeks ago. Might need this but cannot be ruled out. THUNDERING FALCON (8) won a Class 1 over a slightly longer journey here two back - in the mix at big odds with a repeat of that effort.
