Finding solid value throughout a fantasy football draft is important, but every year there are a handful of players who provide significantly more production than their draft-day cost suggests.

Those are the players who can ultimately swing fantasy leagues. Whether it's a young running back making the leap into RB1 territory, a receiver poised for a breakout, or an established star available at a discount, finding even one true league winner can dramatically change the ceiling of your roster.

With that in mind, here are five players who have the potential to become league-winning picks in 2026 fantasy football drafts.

Best Fantasy Football League Winners to Target in 2026

Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers

ADP: 16th overall (RB10)

Omarion Hampton‘s rookie season was interrupted by injuries, but what we saw when he was healthy provided plenty of reasons to be excited about his sophomore campaign.

Hampton appeared in only nine games but still accumulated 545 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on 124 carries, averaging 4.4 yards per attempt. More importantly for PPR leagues, he showed that his receiving ability could be a major part of his fantasy profile. Hampton caught 32 passes for 192 yards and another touchdown, putting him on a 17-game pace for more than 60 receptions.

The combination of rushing volume and receiving involvement is what gives Hampton league-winning potential.

Justin Herbert should keep the Los Angeles Chargers' offense in scoring position frequently, and Hampton has already demonstrated he can produce both on the ground and through the air. His rookie season included a 128-yard rushing performance against the New York Giants as well as three separate games with at least five receptions.

If Hampton stays healthy for a full season, there is a very realistic path to him finishing as a top-five RB.

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

ADP: 42nd overall (WR18)

Emeka Egbuka‘s rookie season may have only been the beginning.

The former first-round pick immediately became an important part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ passing game, catching 63 passes for 938 yards and 6 touchdowns. His 14.9 yards per reception led all rookies, and he finished second among rookies in receiving yards.

Egbuka gave us a glimpse of his ceiling almost immediately. He became the first player in NFL history to record at least 25 receptions, 400 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns within his first five career games.

There is now even more opportunity available in Tampa Bay following Mike Evans' departure. The Buccaneers enter 2026 with Egbuka, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan as their primary receivers, giving Egbuka an opportunity to establish himself as Baker Mayfield‘s top weapon.

We don't have to project a breakout entirely from hypothetical potential here. Egbuka already flirted with 1,000 yards as a rookie. A modest increase in target volume could push him comfortably beyond that mark, and his ability to generate chunk plays gives him legitimate double-digit touchdown upside.

Egbuka has the profile of a receiver who could make the jump from a good fantasy option to a great one.

Luther Burden III, WR, Chicago Bears

ADP: 54th overall (WR24)

Luther Burden III is exactly the type of second-year receiver I want to bet on in fantasy football.

Burden's rookie numbers were solid rather than spectacular, as he caught 47 passes for 652 yards and 2 touchdowns across 15 games. However, his production increased considerably as the season progressed and the Chicago Bears became more comfortable expanding his role.

Burden finished the regular season with one of the best performances of his rookie year, exploding for 8 catches, 138 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17. He also recorded 84 yards against the Cleveland Browns two weeks earlier and 67 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14.

That late-season surge is particularly interesting because Burden wasn't even a full-time starter for most of the year. He started only five games despite averaging 13.9 yards per reception.

With D.J. Moore gone, Burden should slide into a heavy-snap role opposite Rome Odunze, and that increased snap share could be enormous for his fantasy outlook. Caleb Williams has already shown significant upside, while Burden possesses the after-the-catch ability to turn relatively easy completions into big fantasy plays.

If his late-2025 production was a preview of what's coming with a full-time role, he could emerge as one of the best mid-to-late-round receiver selections of the season.

Carnell Tate, WR, Tennessee Titans

ADP: 16th overall (RB10)

Rookie wide receivers always carry uncertainty, but Carnell Tate landed in the type of situation that can produce an immediate fantasy breakout.

The Tennessee Titans selected Tate fourth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, making him the first wide receiver off the board. The Titans didn't make that investment for him to operate as a secondary piece. They drafted Tate to give second-year quarterback Cameron Ward a potential No. 1 receiver.

Tate is coming off a junior season at Ohio State in which he recorded 51 receptions for 875 yards and 9 touchdowns despite missing three games. He finished his college career averaging 15.5 yards per reception, demonstrating the ability to win at multiple levels of the field.

The most exciting part from a fantasy perspective is his potential target ceiling. Tennessee has Calvin Ridley, Wan'Dale Robinson and Elic Ayomanor available, but there isn't an established WR1-type receiver who should prevent Tate from becoming Ward's favorite target.

That's why Tate is such an appealing upside selection. Rookie receivers can become increasingly valuable as the season progresses, and Tate has both the draft capital and talent to command substantial volume immediately.

If Ward takes a meaningful step forward in Year 2 and Tate emerges as Tennessee's No. 1 receiver, his fantasy ceiling could end up significantly higher than his ADP suggests.

George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers

ADP: 87th overall (TE9)

George Kittle comes with more risk than the other players on this list, but that uncertainty is also why Kittle is barely inside the top 100 picks.

Kittle tore his Achilles in the San Francisco 49ers‘ playoff loss in January, making his recovery one of the biggest variables surrounding his fantasy outlook. There was encouraging news in August, however, as the 49ers activated Kittle from the physically unable to perform list and allowed him to return to practice.

If Kittle is able to return to the field early in the year — and it seems like he has a chance to play Week 1 — we know what his ceiling looks like.

He caught 57 passes for 628 yards and 7 touchdowns in only 11 regular-season games in 2025. That followed consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in 2023 and 2024, including a 2024 campaign in which Kittle produced 78 catches, 1,106 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Kittle has consistently provided a fantasy advantage at a position where it can be difficult to find difference-making production. He has recorded at least six touchdown catches in each of his past five seasons and has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards three times during his career.

San Francisco's receiving corps has changed considerably, but Kittle remains one of Brock Purdy most trusted targets. Mike Evans now headlines the wide receiver room, but there should still be plenty of opportunities for Kittle over the middle of the field and in the red zone — especially with Jauan Jennings gone and Ricky Pearsall out for the season.

There’s certainly a chance Kittle isn’t ready for Week 1, but he looks like to be ready to play early in the year, making him a worthwhile target at his ADP, especially if your league has injured slots where you can stash him without using up one of your bench spots.
