Best NFL Touchdown Picks Week 3

Quinshon Judkins to Score a TD (+100)

Panthers vs. Browns (1 p.m. ET)

A home date against the Carolina Panthers is a pretty nice matchup for Quinshon Judkins. The Panthers let up the sixth-most rushing scores per game to RBs last year (0.94) and have already surrendered four rushing tuddies to backs through two weeks.

Judkins has played 65% and 67% of the snaps in the Cleveland Browns‘ first two games, and he’s accounted for 24 of the Browns’ 28 running-back carries.

The Browns are only 2.5-point home ‘dogs, so there’s not as much concern about a negative game script as there usually is. I’m actually bullish on Cleveland’s chances to win, and Judkins’ even-money TD odds catch my eye.

Pat Freiermuth to Score a TD (+350)

Bengals vs. Steelers (1 p.m. ET)

Backing the offenses of the Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers? Let’s get weird.

We’re obviously dealing with small sample sizes, but through two weeks, the Cincinnati Bengals have been torched by tight ends, giving up per-game averages of 8.5 catches and 100.0 receiving yards to the position. While that’s skewed by Dalton Schultz‘s 140-yard day versus Cincy in Week 2, it’s still noteworthy.

Pat Freiermuth has been one of the few bright spots for Pittsburgh’s offense, hauling in nine of 10 targets and scoring one touchdown this season. He’s played 73% and 66% of the snaps through two weeks and now gets a friendly matchup against Cincy in a game where the Steelers are 3.5-point home underdogs, which could lead to a pass-heavy game script.

George Pickens to Score a TD (+155)

Ravens vs. Cowboys (4:25 p.m. ET)

George Pickens‘ big game is coming, and I think it happens this week.

Pickens is one of my favorite DFS plays for Week 3. The game environment points to shootout potential as the Dallas Cowboys-Baltimore Ravens Brazil clash holds a high total (52.5) and tight spread (3.5).

Pickens has actually led Dallas’ WRs in snap rate in each of the first two weeks (84% and 76%). He’s also seen 14 combined targets, so while he’s got only 68 total yards thus far, the role is dang good.

We know what kind of big-play ability Pickens has, and he’s an excellent red-zone threat. In a game where points could be aplenty, Pickens to score a TD is my favorite touchdown bet of the week.
