Best NFL Touchdown Picks Week 2

Saquon Barkley to Score a TD (-105)

Eagles vs. Titans (1 p.m. ET)

I wrote up Saquon Barkley last week. Despite a good game, he was kept out of the end zone. I’m going back to the Barkley well in Week 2.

The Philadelphia Eagles have another friendly matchup, this time at the Tennessee Titans. In Week 1, Tennessee allowed 152 rushing yards to the New York Jets, and Breece Hall finished with 102 rushing yards and a TD.

Barkley had a nice role last week, playing 71% of the snaps and seeing 15 carries plus two targets. He handled 15 of Philly’s 18 RB carries and logged a pair of red-zone rushing attempts.

With the Eagles a 7.0-point road favorite and listed at -113 odds to go over 23.5 points, Philly’s offense is expected to have a good day. That should lead to some red-zone touches for Barkley, and I like the chance to get him at near-even money odds to touch paint.

Drake London to Score a TD (+195)

Panthers vs. Falcons (1 p.m. ET)

Drake London has a mouth-watering matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

The Chicago Bears torched the Panthers’ defense for 59 points last week, with Carolina allowing 8.4 net yards per pass attempt. The Panthers also struggled defensively last season, permitting the 10th-highest net yards per pass attempt (6.5).

London has been really good against the Panthers over the last two seasons, averaging 108.7 receiving yards per game over four matchups and totaling three touchdowns.

London played 98% of the Atlanta Falcons‘ offensive snaps in Week 1, and while it’s not ideal that Cooper Rush is drawing another start, London can reach the end zone in this sublime matchup.

Terry McLaurin to Score a TD (+200)

Commanders vs. Cowboys (4:25 p.m. ET)

Terry McLaurin had a quiet Week 1 game. I like him to bounce back and score a touchdown in Week 2.

McLaurin made only two catches in his season opener at the Eagles. He has a much nicer matchup this week, playing indoors against a shoddy Dallas Cowboys defense.

Even in the down outing in Week 1, McLaurin paced the Washington Commanders‘ wideouts in snap rate (87%) by a wide margin, with no other Washington WRs seeing a snap share above 63%.

McLaurin has hit pay dirt in two of his past three games versus Dallas, and in a game that offers shootout potential — high total (50.5) and fairly close spread (4.5) — McLaurin’s TD odds are appealing.
