MLB Prop Bets: MLB Props for Today

Kyle Tucker to Record 2+ Hits/Runs/RBI (+115)

Dodgers vs. Tigers, 6:41 p.m. ET

The headlines for tonight’s Los Angeles Dodgers-Detroit Tigers clash are about Tarik Skubal facing his former team, but I’m more interested in the flip side of the matchup.

LA’s offense can have a field day versus RHP Drew Anderson. The Dodgers are listed at even money to go over 4.5 runs, and that has me backing Kyle Tucker to notch two-plus H/R/RBI at these plus-money odds.

Much has been made about Tucker’s poor season. It looked like he may be catching fire after the break, but that didn’t happen. In fact, he’s plummeted to new lows, struggling to a .149 wOBA over his last 58 plate appearances (6 for 58 in that span).

Despite Tucker’s woes, it’s still jarring to see him at this kind of number in the H/R/RBI market, and I’m willing to roll the dice on a night when LA’s offense should have success, which could give Tucker some run-scoring and RBI chances.

Michael Harris II to Record an RBI (+120)

Rockies vs. Braves, 7:16 p.m. ET

I wrote up Michael Harris II as one of my favorite home run predictions for today, and I’m going to him again here.

Harris has a sublime matchup with Colorado Rockies righty Tomoyuki Sugano. Lefties have rocked Sugano for 2.57 dingers per nine and a .388 wOBA. The Atlanta Braves are one of the game’s elite offenses, and they’re listed at -142 odds to go over 4.5 runs.

Harris, who is likely to hit fifth, is in a good spot for RBI chances, and the good matchups should keep coming once Sugano is pulled as the Rox have the second-worst reliever xFIP over the last 30 days.

Dean Kremer Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+108)

White Sox vs. Twins, 8:11 p.m. ET

Dean Kremer has been sneaky good this season, and I think he can get to six-plus punchouts in a date with the Chicago White Sox.

Kremer owns a 24.3% K rate and 11.4% swinging-strike rate en route to a 3.89 SIERA. He’s fanned five, six and seven over his last three starts.

Chicago’s offense packs a punch, but they also have the sixth-highest strikeout rate (23.9%) this campaign. Their K rate has climbed to 24.9% over the last 30 days, so they’ve got plenty of swing and miss in their lineup.

Kremer got up to 101 pitches last time out. That’s a pretty nice leash, and him to go over 5.5 Ks is my favorite pitcher prop for Friday.
