MIGHTY MAC (5) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a nose away in second after he was well back on straightening over 1 ¼m at Wangaratta. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. FAR FROM A CRY (8) hasn't run a place in seven starts but she's been close the past two. She'll have come on greatly from the run over this distance range last start and looks to have more upside than most in this. CHARLIE MESSY HAIR (1) drifted back and never threatened at his last run four days ago, finishing seventh over 1 ½m at Mornington. No surprise to see him back in form this time. LAST CARD LOUIE (4) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of his ground last start when 9 lengths away in seventh over 2 7/16m at Ararat. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
