SHOSAN REX (13) wound up strongly only to just miss when fresh from a spell last start over 6f at this track. Should tighten right up following that outing. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. RUKARIRI (16) showed good speed last time out and fought on well when third over 7f at this track. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Tsubasa Sasagawa who has four wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. IT'S BAD (5) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second after she was well back on straightening over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. THE GOAT (7) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 0.8 lengths at today's track and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Likely to be there at the finish again.
