POND SPRING (4) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a neck over 7f at this track. Will be up on the speed from the low draw. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LUCKY CROWN (9) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when fourth over 6f at this track. Better than last run suggests - can atone. DUPUY DE LOME (10) resumes from a spell of seven months. Could only manage to finish tenth at the latest run over 1m at Tokyo Dirt. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Tokyo Dirt over 1m. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. GORTYS (8) showed good early speed from the inside draw last start before finishing second over 7 ½f at Kanazawa. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is capable of another big run.
