World Cup Predictions Today: Egypt vs Iran
Best Bet: Both Teams to Score -- No (-138)
Egypt can top the group with a win, and a draw might also be enough to win the group (depending on what happens in Belgium-New Zealand). Even with a loss, Egypt are probably advancing, so that makes this a funky game for them.
With two points, Iran aren't nearly as comfortable. They need at least a draw to have a shot to advance while a win would give them a chance to win the group. A loss would be the end of the road for them.
I think the scenarios for each will lead to a cagey, low-event affair -- spearheaded by Iran. With Iran knowing a draw gives them at least a chance to advance while a loss spells doom, they'll probably play things cautiously. Egypt, meanwhile, don't have much reason to open up and make this a chaotic match.
Plus, these teams have both been strong defensively thus far, giving up only two goals apiece.

World Cup FAQ
What are three-way odds in soccer?
Unlike traditional moneyline betting in American sports, soccer uses three-way odds. You're betting on one of three outcomes: Home Team win, Away Team Win or a Draw. This is the fundamental difference from NFL or NBA lines. The draw exists because soccer matches can end in ties. Three-way odds account for this possibility.
