College Football Player Props for This Week
Faizon Brandon Under 33.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Auburn vs. Tennessee (3:30 p.m. ET)
Faizon Brandon - Rushing Yds
Faizon Brandon has flashed plenty of mobility during his first season as the Tennessee Volunteers‘ quarterback, but his rushing numbers against better competition make this under interesting.
Brandon has 139 rushing yards across four games, which comes out to 34.8 per contest. However, 68 of those yards came against FCS opponent Furman. In Tennessee's three games against FBS teams, Brandon has totaled only 71 rushing yards, and he's produced just 24 yards across his two matchups with power-conference opponents.
His game log shows the difference clearly. Brandon ran for 68 yards against Furman and 47 against Kennesaw State, but he had only 22 yards at Georgia Tech before being held to 2 rushing yards against Texas last week.
Quarterback rushing numbers in college football also include sack yardage. That mattered in a big way against Texas, which sacked Brandon 10 times as Tennessee finished with only 70 rushing yards as a team.
Tennessee has two capable running backs in DeSean Bishop and Daune Morris, a duo that has combined for 587 rushing yards through four games, so the Vols don't necessarily need to use Brandon as a primary rushing weapon.
With Brandon averaging only 23.7 rushing yards against FBS competition, under 34.5 is appealing versus the Auburn Tigers.
Demond Williams Jr. Over 35.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Washington vs. USC (7:30 p.m. ET)
Demond Williams Jr. - Rushing Yds
Demond Williams Jr.'s legs should be an important part of the Washington Huskies’ offense in a matchup where the Huskies may need their quarterback to create outside of structure.
Williams has rushed 40 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns through four games, good for 41.3 rushing yards per contest. He's also Washington's leading rusher by total yardage despite playing quarterback.
That workload is important. Williams is averaging 10 rushing attempts per game, giving him enough volume to clear 35.5 yards without needing one massive run.
The matchup could also encourage more scrambling. The USC Trojans have allowed 26.4 points per game, and their defense has shown cracks against quality competition. The Trojans gave up 41 points to Oregon last week.
Washington is also a sizable road underdog (+9.5), which could lead to more drop backs and more chances to scramble.
Chris Hunter Under 4.5 Receptions (+106)
Cincinnati vs. Arizona (11 p.m. ET)
Chris Hunter - Total Receptions
Chris Hunter's reception line looks a little too high compared to the role we've seen from him through four games.
The Arizona Wildcats‘ wideout has caught only 11 passes this season, an average of 2.8 receptions per game. He has finished with 1, 1, 5, and 4 catches in Arizona's four contests, meaning he's gone under this 4.5-reception mark in three of four.
Hunter has seen more work recently, including nine targets against Washington State, but Arizona has several other options in the passing game. Tre Spivey leads the Wildcats with 19 receptions and 278 receiving yards while Giovanni Richardson has 13 catches despite playing only two games. Hunter is sitting at 11 catches for 135 yards.
The current 4.5-reception line requires Hunter to match or exceed his season high just to get to the over in this matchup with the Cincinnati Bearcats.
I'll side with the under.

College Football Prop Betting FAQ
What are college football player props?
Player props are wagers based on an individual player's performance rather than the final score of the game. Common examples include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, touchdowns, and completions.
What should you look for when betting college football player props?
Usage and matchup are two of the biggest factors. Bettors should consider snap share, carries, targets, quarterback tendencies, game script, opponent strength, and whether a player's recent production is supported by a consistent workload.
Are college football player props available for every game?
No. Sportsbooks typically offer more player props for nationally televised games and matchups involving major programs, while smaller games may have fewer markets available. Also, college player props are not allowed in some states where sports betting is legal.
