Taillon has always been a fly-ball pitcher. Things have gotten extreme in 2026 as Taillon has given up a 50.3% fly-ball rate. That's resulted in him surrendering 2.77 homers per nine innings.

Lefty bats are really hurting him, with Taillon permitting a .384 wOBA, 44.9% hard-hit rate, 56.4% fly-ball rate and 3.42 jacks per nine in the split.

Lowe has 13 long-balls this season, 10 of which have come against right-handed hurlers. In the split, Lowe owns a gaudy .429 wOBA with a 44.7% fly-ball rate.
