
Mike Raffensperger is FanDuel Group’s President, Sports, where he owns all functional responsibility for the company’s sports business unit, inclusive of sports betting, daily fantasy sports, retail, free-to-play, FanDuel TV, FanDuel Canada, and New Ventures. In his role, Raffensperger is responsible for the firm’s strategy to capitalize on the emergence of legal online gaming, leading all revenue, marketing, partnership, and media functions.
Prior to FanDuel, Raffensperger was the Head of Marketing for Amazon Advertising where he led an initiative pairing online video with e-commerce. Growing the platform from its infancy, Raffensperger created a new advertising category, a contributor to Amazon’s meteoric rise in the advertising marketplace. Before joining Amazon, he was Director of Digital Marketing & Strategy for DIRECTV, with responsibility for all digital marketing, communication, and commerce. Through his leadership, DIRECTV enjoyed improved bottom line contribution and years of net subscriber gains.
Raffensperger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media from Messiah College and is a standing fellow with Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. He is a die-hard New York Giants fan.
