FanDuel Casino is the top iGaming operator and brand in the U.S. Currently, it is available in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The goal of Blackjack simple: beat the dealer when your hand value is closer to 21 without exceeding it, or when the dealer’s hand exceeds 21.
Baccarat is one of the oldest and easiest Casino games to play. The goal is to guess which of the two hands will add up closer to nine.
All you have to do is pick the hand you want to bet on before the cards are dealt and the dealer takes care of the rest.
Craps is a high-energy Casino dice game that offers players a variety of betting options. The objective is to predict the outcome of the roll or a series of rolls of two six-sided dice.
The goal of Roulette is to guess where the ball will land on the revolving wheel by choosing a number and color.
The goal of all online slots is to match symbols across the reels in order to win prizes. How much you win all depends on the type of symbol, the value of the symbol, and the amount you bet.
Live dealer casino games differ from traditional online casino games in that they feature a human dealer who interacts with players in real time. This adds an extra layer of excitement and authenticity to the gaming experience, as players can watch the dealer shuffle and deal the cards, or spin the Roulette wheel, just as they would in a live casino.
Players can also interact with the dealer and other players via chat, adding a social element to the game.
Bonus Spins are a form of prepaid credit for customers to play on specific slot games. You can find a list of eligible games on the promotion page associated with the offer. Winnings will be credited into the customer’s account in the form of Casino Bonus.
Jackpots offer the highest potential payouts in a given slot machine or casino game. To win a jackpot in a slot game, players usually need to land a specific combination of symbols on the reels, which can vary from game to game.
Responsible Gaming (RG) refers to policies, practices, and tools designed to ensure that gambling and sports betting remain safe, enjoyable entertainment activities while preventing problem gambling and protecting vulnerable individuals.
At FanDuel, we want betting to always be fun. That means helping our customers play smart and play with a plan, setting a budget, and only betting what they can afford.
Flutter, FanDuel’s parent company, and FanDuel invested $100 million in RG technology, product enhancements, education campaigns, and advocacy in 2024. As part of setting the standard for being a responsible operator, our Responsible Gaming strategy is built around three core pillars:
We regularly review and update our policies to better identify, monitor, and support customers who may be at risk. Our team looks at a range of behaviors, including:
If we identify signs of potentially problematic play, our Responsible Gaming Operations and Customer Care teams step in with support tailored to the situation. This could mean sharing FanDuel’s responsible gaming tools, suggesting a short break, or, in some cases, closing a customer’s account to keep them safe.
Before customers can place a bet on FanDuel, we confirm their identity using a government-issued ID, address, phone number, and other key details.
Our Know Your Customer (KYC) process and other internal controls ensure that every account is verified safely through trusted third-party partners.
FanDuel partners with Geocomply for licensed geolocation services to make sure customers are playing from states where betting is legal.
FanDuel requires players to be 21+ in all U.S. markets, except in the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Puerto Rico, and Wyoming, where the minimum age is 18. In Ontario, the legal gambling age is 19.
The Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) was a federal law passed in 1992 that largely banned sports betting in the U.S., with a few exceptions for states that already had some form of it.
In 2012, New Jersey challenged PASPA, arguing it violated states’ rights. This case went to the U.S. Supreme Court, and in May 2018, the Court ruled in Murphy v. NCAA that PASPA was unconstitutional because it overstepped federal authority.
The decision didn’t automatically make sports betting legal everywhere, but it gave states the power to decide for themselves. Since then, a regulated and taxed industry has emerged, generating billions in state revenue and, for the first time, introducing various protections for consumers.
Even with legalization, the American Gaming Association estimates 673.6 billion annually wagered by Americans with illegal and unregulated gambling operators, representing $15.3 billion in lost tax revenue for states.
Legal sportsbooks and online casinos are regulated state by state in the U.S. FanDuel must earn a license in every state it operates and follow regulations to keep products safe and compliant.
Like banks and other financial institutions, online gaming operators must follow federal Anti-Money Laundering (AML), including the Bank Secrecy Act. FanDuel verifies customer identities, monitors account activity, tracks sources of funds, files Suspicious Activity Reports, conducts annual audits, and trains employees to spot red flags.
When serious criminal activity is detected, FanDuel not only files Suspicious Activity Reports with the federal government and suspends customer accounts as needed, but also notifies law enforcement.
FanDuel stays engaged with the industry through AML conferences and webinars to stay on top of best practices and keep customers safe.
