Super Bowl Betting: Game Specials for Super Bowl LVIII
Super Bowl LVIII is so close, we can taste it.
For sports bettors and fans, the big game is often viewed on par with Christmas morning. To up the ante this year, the Super Bowl has dawned upon Southern Nevada for the very first time -- Vegas, baby, Vegas!
With the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs going head-to-head for the Lombardi Trophy (again), there are plenty of betting options with FanDuel Sportsbook's traditional Super Bowl odds. In addition to those lines, for Super Bowl LVIII, FanDuel Sportsbook has rolled out more than 30 Game Specials to take advantage of.
With just a few moons left until Sunday, let's peruse through those Game Specials to find some bets that stand out.

Super Bowl Betting: Game Specials
Christian McCaffrey 35+ Rushing Yards in Each Half (-110)
Arguably, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey was the most exciting offensive player of the 2023-24 campaign. Over the past season, McCaffrey thrived in his first full year in Kyle Shanahan's system, earning his inaugural NFL rushing title behind 1,459 yards (or 91.2 yards per game).
Right now, FanDuel Sportsbook is offering -110 odds on CMC rushing for 35 yards (or more) in each half of Super Bowl LVIII. For reference, the Stanford Cardinal alum has averaged 55.25 rushing yards in the first half of games this year. After halftime, the speedy tailback has produced an average of 35.94 yards on the ground in 2023.
Simply, McCaffrey's current trends have him winning this wager. Still, we should keep in mind that yardage does not roll over in this market; we are not looking for 70 total rushing yards from CMC -- we need 35-plus yards in each half.
McCaffrey has played two games of playoff football this season. Through that stretch, he produced rushing totals of 98 and 90 yards. That sort of production will do well here.
In the current postseason, CMC has earned a rushing clip of 5.1 yards per carry.
Considering San Francisco's second-ranked rushing attack -- according to numberFire's metrics -- will likely look to establish the ground game against a Kansas City rushing D that ranks fifth-worst, I like this market quite a bit.
Travis Kelce 25+ Receiving Yards in Each Half (+110)
A similar play, yet different -- I believe Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce stands a solid chance to produce more than 25 receiving yards (+110 odds) in each half of Super Bowl LVIII.
The younger Kelce is widely known as one of the best players in the NFL, but the star TE regularly propels his abilities in the postseason. In 17 career playoff contests with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, Kelce has produced 89.2 receiving yards per game.
Splitting that production down the middle, Kelce averages 44.6 yards per half in the postseason. However, in three career Super Bowls, the Cincinnati Bearcats alum has notched 85.7 receiving yards per game (or 42.8 yards per half).
Kelce is a mismatch nightmare for almost any defense in the NFL. Standing at 6-foot-5, the All-Pro tight end presents an expansive catch radius, one that Mahomes knows well.
Lastly, the 49ers have endured issues covering tight ends in their zone schemes. Sam LaPorta of the Detroit Lions gashed San Francisco for nine receptions and 97 yards in the recent conference championship. Given that Kelce is slightly taller, faster and more experienced than LaPorta, I believe Kelce can have a big game on Sunday.
