NFL Picks for TNF: Steelers vs Browns Player Props, Prediction
Browns Moneyline (+126)
Moneyline
The Cleveland Browns ML came through for us last week, and I’m going back to the well this week with Cleveland once again a small home ‘dog.
In truth, I just don’t see much between these teams. Both are struggling on offense, with the Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers ranking 25th and 26th, respectively, in yards per play. They’re also both in the bottom 10 in net yards per pass attempt.
While Cleveland’s defense hasn’t been as good as it was in 2025 — when it gave up the fifth-fewest yards per play — they’re still a strong unit, and Aaron Rodgers registered just 187 passing yards with a pair of fumbles in his lone road start this season.
Ultimately, I see a lower-scoring game where Cleveland does just enough to get the win, similar to what the Browns did a week ago versus the Panthers.
Under 38.5 Points (-115)
Total Points
As I just laid out, this is a matchup between two of the worst offenses in the NFL. As such, the total is set at a low number. I think it should be even lower.
Not only are both offenses struggling, the defenses are pretty solid, as well, and the short week likely won’t help the offenses too much.
Rodgers’ first road game this year did not go well, which we covered above. The Steelers mustered only three points in that one. A season ago, he averaged just 6.66 adjusted yards per attempt on the road, and he had a miserable outing at Cleveland late last campaign, throwing for only 168 yards despite 39 attempts in a 13-6 Steelers loss.
Cleveland’s O has made some chunk plays this year and has some talent at the skill positions, but the Browns are 25th in yards per play and are averaging just 18.0 points per game.
All in all, while this total is low, I still like the under on a short week in a clash between two blah offenses versus two solid defenses.
Pat Freiermuth Over 28.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Pat Freiermuth - Receiving Yds
One spot where the Browns’ D has been forgiving this year so far is tight end, and Pat Freiermuth can take advantage.
Through three weeks, Cleveland has allowed the eighth-most catches per game (6.3) to TEs as well as the ninth-most receiving yards per game (66.0) to the position.
Freiermuth has generated at least 30 yards in each of the Steelers’ three games, averaging 36.0 receiving yards per game this season. He made three catches for 63 yards in his most recent matchup with the Browns, and he’s topped 28.5 yards in six of his previous seven regular-season games.
This is my favorite player prop for TNF.
