World Cup Predictions Today: South Korea vs South Africa
Best Bet: Under 2.5 Goals (-122)
South Korea are the better team -- listed at -140 to win -- and they know all they need to advance is at least a draw. I think that will lead to a low-scoring match where South Korea play things safe, resulting in goal chances being rare.
South Africa have not provided much of a goal threat through two matches, netting only one goal, although they looked much more threatening against Czechia than they did against Mexico.
South Korea haven't done all that much in attack, either, scoring twice in their opener before getting blanked last time out against Mexico in a match where South Korea put only two shots on target.
With a 0-0 draw being enough for South Korea, we could see them be very cautious going forward, and if they score first, they may close up shop knowing that they'd have to concede twice from there to drop out of the tourney.

World Cup FAQ
What are three-way odds in soccer?
Unlike traditional moneyline betting in American sports, soccer uses three-way odds. You're betting on one of three outcomes: Home Team win, Away Team Win or a Draw. This is the fundamental difference from NFL or NBA lines. The draw exists because soccer matches can end in ties. Three-way odds account for this possibility.
When does the US play in the 2026 World Cup?
The Americans already played Paraguay and Australia. Their last group match comes versus Turkey (June 25th).
When is the 2026 World Cup Final?
The final is scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
