Ravens at Chiefs Week 1 Odds

  • Baltimore Ravens Moneyline: +124
  • Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline: -146
  • Spread: Chiefs (-2.5)
  • Total: 46.5

To kick off the 2024-25 campaign, we'll be treated to a much-anticipated rematch of the AFC Championship Game from a season ago between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are favored at home over the Ravens in Week 1 with Patrick Mahomes having the shortest NFL MVP odds (+500) upon Kansas City adding Marquise Brown and rookie Xavier Worthy to its aerial attack.

Lamar Jackson -- the reigning MVP -- is looking to be the second quarterback since 2020 to take home the hardware in back-to-back years. Jackson is listed at +1400 odds to win the NFL MVP, tied for the fifth-shortest.

Packers at Eagles Week 1 Odds

  • Green Bay Packers Moneyline: +104
  • Philadelphia Eagles Moneyline: -120
  • Spread: Eagles (-1.5)
  • Total: 47.5

Following an improbable playoff run with a young roster in 2023-24, the Green Bay Packers are out to prove last season was no fluke, beginning the upcoming campaign on the road versus the new-look Philadelphia Eagles. Saquon Barkley -- who is tied for the sixth-shortest odds to win Offensive Player of the Year (+2000) -- will make his debut for the Eagles in Week 1.

On the other hand, Jordan Love is tied with Lamar and Jalen Hurts for the fifth-shortest odds to win NFL MVP (+1400) next season.

Titans at Bears Week 1 Odds

  • Tennessee Titans Moneyline: +190
  • Chicago Bears Moneyline: -225
  • Spread: Bears (-4.5)
  • Total: 43.5

The Tennessee Titans are doing everything in their power to make sure Will Levis is set up for success, adding Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Tony Pollard, and JC Latham via free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft. The same can be said about the Chicago Bears and their new QB. Chicago surrounded No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams with an arsenal of D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet, and D'Andre Swift.

Williams is sitting at +170 odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year and has the Bears favored by a decent margin at home in Week 1.

Steelers at Falcons Week 1 Odds

  • Pittsburgh Steelers Moneyline: +134
  • Atlanta Falcons Moneyline: -158
  • Spread: Falcons (-3)
  • Total: 42.5

An Arthur Smith revenge-game narrative right off the bat is exactly what fans were asking for. All jokes aside, the Pittsburgh Steelers should be improved on offense with either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields under center while the Atlanta Falcons get a much-needed boost upon signing Kirk Cousins in free agency.

The addition of Cousins at quarterback has second-year back Bijan Robinson tied for the eighth-shortest odds to win Offensive Player of the Year (+2500).

Jaguars at Dolphins Week 1 Odds

  • Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline: +154
  • Miami Dolphins Moneyline: -186
  • Spread: Dolphins (-3.5)
  • Total: 49.5

A matchup between two Florida teams and two quarterbacks -- Trevor Lawrence and Tua Tagovailoa -- who are looking to change narratives surrounding them makes for an interesting season opener. Of the 16 Week 1 contests, the bout between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins boasts the second-highest total (49.5).

After missing out on the OPOY award last season, Tyreek Hill carries the shortest Offensive Player of the Year odds (+700) this year.

Patriots at Bengals Week 1 Odds

  • New England Patriots Moneyline: +370
  • Cincinnati Bengals Moneyline: -480
  • Spread: Bengals (-9.5)
  • Total: 43.5

The phrase "We're on to Cincinnati" feels a bit different when Bill Belichick isn't calling the shots for the New England Patriots. In a game where either Jacoby Brissett or rookie Drake Maye will be starting at quarterback for the Patriots in Jerod Mayo's head coaching debut, the Cincinnati Bengals find themselves as the biggest favorites (-8.5) across the league in Week 1.

With Joe Burrow making his awaited return from a season-ending wrist injury, the Bengals are tied for the fourth-shortest odds to win the Super Bowl (+1300).

Texans at Colts Week 1 Odds

  • Houston Texans Moneyline: -120
  • Indianapolis Colts Moneyline: +102
  • Spread: Texans (-1.5)
  • Total: 48.5

C.J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson are two second-year quarterbacks with loads of potential who will meet up in a divisional matchup in Week 1. The Houston Texans are coming off a playoff berth where they lost in the Divisional Round, and they have since added Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon to their impressive skill group.

While the Texans have the shortest odds to win the AFC South (+105) and the Indianapolis Colts have the third-shortest odds in the same market (+330), this clash between divisional foes is projected to be close.

Vikings at Giants Week 1 Odds

  • Minnesota Vikings Moneyline: -102
  • New York Giants Moneyline: -116
  • Spread: Vikings (-1)
  • Total: 41.5

There will be uncertainty about who will be starting at quarterback for both the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants ahead of their Week 1 matchup, essentially making this a pick'em. The Vikings could roll with either rookie J.J. McCarthy or Sam Darnold while there are murmurs that the Giants could give Drew Lock a chance to take over for Daniel Jones as the starter.

Even though it's unknown when McCarthy will make his debut in the NFL, he is tied for the fourth-shortest odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+1400).

Panthers at Saints Week 1 Odds

  • Carolina Panthers Moneyline: +194
  • New Orleans Saints Moneyline: -235
  • Spread: Saints (-4.5)
  • Total: 40.5

The game with the lowest over/under (40.5) in Week 1 is unsurprisingly an NFC South matchup between the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints. Bryce Young has a new head coach -- with Dave Canales taking over -- and has a new No. 1 wideout as the Panthers acquired Diontae Johnson via trade.

Ahead of their first meeting of the campaign, the Saints have the second-longest odds to win the NFC South (+340) and the Panthers have the longest odds (+1400) in the same market.

Cardinals at Bills Week 1 Odds

  • Arizona Cardinals Moneyline: +265
  • Buffalo Bills Moneyline: -330
  • Spread: Bills (-7)
  • Total: 48.5

The Buffalo Bills come in as the second-biggest favorites (-7) in Week 1 in a home clash against the Arizona Cardinals despite having a new-look offense around Josh Allen. In hopes to replace Diggs and Gabriel Davis, the Bills have added Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and rookie Keon Coleman at wide receiver.

Amid all the changes on both sides of the ball, Buffalo is still tied for the fourth-shortest Super Bowl odds (+1300).

Raiders at Chargers Week 1 Odds

  • Las Vegas Raiders Moneyline: +152
  • Los Angeles Chargers Moneyline: -180
  • Spread: Chargers (-3.5)
  • Total: 42.5

Antonio Pierce and Jim Harbaugh are two head coaches who want to play a physical brand of football, and we'll likely get just that when the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers square off in Week 1. In a game between two squads that underwent a bevy of changes this offseason, what makes the Chargers favorites is likely the fact they have Justin Herbertat quarterback, compared to the Raiders trotting out either Gardner Minshew or Aidan O'Connell.

Despite losing Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, and Mike Williams, Herbert is still tied for the eighth-shortest NFL MVP odds (+1600).

Broncos at Seahawks Week 1 Odds

  • Denver Broncos Moneyline: +188
  • Seattle Seahawks Moneyline: -225
  • Spread: Seahawks (-4.5)
  • Total: 42.5

Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton got his wish of moving on from Russell Wilson this offseason, replacing Wilson with rookie Bo Nix and Zach Wilson. Even though Mike Macdonald has taken the place of Pete Carroll on the sideline for the Seattle Seahawks, Geno Smith is still under center, and the offense is loaded with weapons.

That being said, the Seahawks have the second-longest odds to win the NFC West (+750) in the upcoming season.

Cowboys at Browns Week 1 Odds

  • Dallas Cowboys Moneyline: -112
  • Cleveland Browns Moneyline: -104
  • Spread: Cowboys (-1.5)
  • Total: 43.5

The Dallas Cowboys will begin the campaign with a road matchup versus the Cleveland Browns, who are hoping to see better results from Deshaun Watson. Dak Prescott is in a contract year with the Cowboys, and head coach Mike McCarthy is seemingly coaching for his job, making it important that Dallas begins the season on a positive note.

CeeDee Lamb has the third-shortest odds to win Offensive Player of the Year (+1000) in 2024-25, and with the Cowboys lacking proven weapons on offense, Lamb could be very busy this coming season.

Commanders at Buccaneers Week 1 Odds

  • Washington Commanders Moneyline: +166
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers Moneyline: -198
  • Spread: Buccaneers (-4.5)
  • Total: 41.5

The Washington Commanders are entering a new era with rookie Jayden Daniels at quarterback and Dan Quinn at head coach. While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don't have Dave Canales calling their offense, they retained Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans, and they are solid favorites at home in the opening week.

Tampa Bay has won the NFC South in back-to-back years, but going by the odds, they enter this season a good bit behind Atlanta (-120), with the Bucs holding +290 odds to win the division.

Rams at Lions Week 1 Odds

  • Los Angeles Rams Moneyline: +142
  • Detroit Lions Moneyline: -168
  • Spread: Lions (-3.5)
  • Total: 51.5

There are plenty of narratives in the Week 1 matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football. Besides Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff -- who were traded for each other -- squaring off, this is a rematch of last year's Wild Card Round game in which the Lions secured a narrow 24-23 victory.

The Lions are favored to defeat the Rams to open 2024, and they have a chance this coming campaign to clinch a postseason berth in back-to-back years for the first time since 1994-1995. Detroit carries -210 odds to make the playoffs this season.

Jets at 49ers Week 1 Odds

  • New York Jets Moneyline: +225
  • San Francisco 49ers Moneyline: -275
  • Spread: 49ers (-6.5)
  • Total: 45.5

The New York Jets are crossing their fingers that the 2024 season opener in primetime goes very different than last year's after Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1 of the 2023-24 campaign. Coming off of his injury, Rodgers will be tasked with facing a familiar foe as the San Francisco 49ers -- who are 4-0 against Rodgers in the playoffs in Rodgers' career -- will host the Jets on Monday Night Football.

With months to go until the regular season kicks off, the 49ers have the shortest odds to win the Super Bowl (+550) and are a comfortable favorite in this one.
