NFL DFS This Week: Best Picks, Plays (Week 8)

Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals — $8,700

Titans at Bengals — 1:00 p.m. ET

Ja'Marr Chase - Receiving Yds

Nov 1 6:01pm UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

Ja'Marr Chase is my favorite high-salary wide receiver play on the slate. The Cincinnati Bengals host Tennessee in a matchup that gives Chase both a favorable opponent and plenty of touchdown upside.

Chase has scored a TD in back-to-back games entering this matchup and has already demonstrated massive DFS upside this season, including a 30.1-FanDuel-point performance against Pittsburgh.

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars — $7,700

Colts at Jaguars — 1:00 p.m. ET

Trevor Lawrence - Passing TDs

Nov 1 6:01pm UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

Trevor Lawrence offers an appealing combination of ceiling and salary in one of the better game environments on the slate in a home date with the Colts. The Jacksonville Jaguars are 7.5-point favorites with a 46.5-point game total.

The quarterback also brings some rushing upside, which is particularly useful on FanDuel because rushing production can help separate quarterbacks in tournaments.

His $7,700 salary puts him below the top tier while still giving him access to a multi-touchdown ceiling.

Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals — $7,100

Titans at Bengals — 1:00 p.m. ET

Chase Brown - Rushing + Receiving Yds

Nov 1 6:01pm UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

Chase Brown is a way to get exposure to Cincinnati's high-scoring offense at a reasonable salary. He's also coming off a matchup against Baltimore in which he still handled 11 carries and four receptions despite the Bengals winning comfortably.

The Tennessee matchup is attractive for Brown's versatility. FanDuel Sportbook's current market has him at 54.5 rushing yards, 18.5 receiving yards and 3.5 receptions, while the Titans rank seventh-worst in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game to running backs in the current matchup data.

Michael Wilson, WR, Arizona Cardinals — $6,200

Cardinals at Cowboys — 1:00 p.m. ET

Michael Wilson - Receiving Yds

Nov 1 6:01pm UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

Michael Wilson is one of my favorite salary-saving wide receivers on the slate. He has 37 catches on 66 targets for 375 yards and a touchdown this season, averaging 53.6 receiving yards per game. He also saw eight targets in the Arizona Cardinals‘ most recent game.

The $6,200 salary makes Wilson especially appealing. His target volume gives him a reasonable floor while his involvement as a runner adds another potential path to FanDuel points.

Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams — $4,700

Chargers at Rams — 4:05 p.m. ET

Any Time Touchdown Scorer

Tyler Higbee is the low-salary tight end I'd consider when trying to jam multiple premium plays into the same lineup. At $4,700, he provides useful salary relief while keeping you invested in a talented Los Angeles Rams offense.

The matchup with the Chargers also gives Higbee access to touchdown upside, although the Rams’ TE usage can be unpredictable.
