Knicks sign OG Anunoby to five-year, $212.5 million contract

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby intends to sign a five-year contract worth $212.5 million to remain with the team, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

What It Means

Anunoby will remain with the Knicks and intends to sign a five-year deal worth $212.5 million. The 26-year-old joined New York in a trade last season after spending the first seven years of his career with the Toronto Raptors.

Anunoby, the 23rd overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, will remain part of a Knicks' starting five that includes Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and Mikal Bridges, who New York acquired in a trade with the Nets on Tuesday night.

In 23 starts for the Knicks last season, Anunoby averaged 14.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
