LaMelo Ball Out for Remainder of 2024-25 Season Due to Ankle and Wrist Injuries

LaMelo Ball will not play for the Charlotte Hornets against the Toronto Raptors on March 28, 2025. He is dealing with ankle and wrist injuries, which have caused him to miss multiple games this season.

In Ball's absence, Nick Smith Jr. is expected to take the point guard position. The Hornets have struggled without Ball, winning only 2 out of 25 games when he is not on the court this season.
