Fred VanVleet Out for Rockets Due to Right Ankle Soreness

Fred VanVleet will not play for the Houston Rockets against the Utah Jazz on April 2, 2025, due to right ankle soreness. This is not the first time VanVleet has faced issues with his right ankle this season.

VanVleet has played 55 games this season, averaging 14.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. With VanVleet out, Aaron Holiday is expected to start at point guard for the Rockets in their upcoming game at the Toyota Center.
