NBA Draft Top-20 Pick Odds: What Do Consensus Rankings Tell Us About This Market?
While it feels like the Denver Nuggets won the NBA title about an hour ago, it's already time for the 2023 NBA Draft.

Let's take a look at the top-20 pick odds.
FanDuel Sportsbook lists 15 players in the market. Here are the 15 players, their odds, and their big board ranks from NBA Mock Draft Database, Tankathon, The Ringer, and ESPN to help us get an idea of how these players are viewed heading into the draft.

Per the odds at FanDuel Sportsbook, only 2 of the 15 players -- Jett Howard and Noah Clowney -- have implied odds better than 50.0% to go in the top 20, so there are a lot of unknowns here.
One of the players with a sizable discrepancy between the consensus ranks and the betting odds is Brice Sensabaugh. Despite having a consensus rank of 20.75 and all four big boards putting him inside the top 22, FanDuel Sportsbook lists him at +430 to go in the top 20. He's an intriguing bet at his +430 odds.
James Nnaji fits that mold, too. Nnaji is listed as a +1200 long-shot to be taken in the top 20, but he boasts an average consensus rank of 25.5, which is tied for the sixth-best mark among the 15 players in this market.
On the flip side, the betting odds are higher on Clowney than the big boards are. He's listed at -230 to go in the top 20 -- making him the largest favorite in the market -- but his average consensus rank is 21.75, which checks in fourth among this group.
