NASCAR Xfinity Series Best Bets: Explore the Pocono Mountains 225

For the most part, my model's sims for Saturday's Explore the Pocono Mountains 225 are in line with the market.

The top three drivers in my sims are all within three percentage points of the market, and I'm above market on only two drivers, relative to FanDuel Sportsbook's NASCAR Xfinity Series betting odds.

I just happen to be well above on both.

Here's the full run of sims prior to practice and qualifying.

Pocono Xfinity Series Best Bets

  • AJ Allmendinger (+2800): Allmendinger has finished top-seven in all four races at high-ish-speed tracks, including a fourth-place average running position recently in Nashville. That's why he's 7.7% for me, up from 3.4% implied.
  • Brandon Jones (+3500): Jones had really impressive speed in Charlotte, twice picking his way through traffic to finish runner-up. He had a fifth-place average running position last year in Pocono. I've got him at 5.7% to win, up from 2.8% implied.
