Rams vs Bills NFL Prop Bets for MNF
Matthew Stafford Over 278.5 Passing Yards (-113)
Matthew Stafford - Passing Yds
Matthew Stafford has been asked to carry a substantial workload through the air this season, and this matchup gives him another opportunity to pile up passing yards.
Stafford enters Monday averaging 297.3 passing yards per game, having accumulated 1,189 yards through his first four outings. He threw for 317 yards last week while attempting a whopping 51 passes.
The Buffalo Bills‘ defense has been pretty forgiving through the air. The Bills have surrendered 256.3 passing yards per game, ranking 27th in the league, and they've already allowed 10 passing touchdowns.
There should also be plenty of incentive for Sean McVay to stay aggressive. With a 54.5-point total attached to this game, Stafford could have to continue throwing into the fourth quarter rather than simply protecting a lead.
Stafford has the volume and matchup to clear 278.5 yards, making the over my preferred side.
Kyren Williams Over 68.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
Kyren Williams - Rushing Yds
Kyren Williams' workload remains strong despite Blake Corum having a role in the Rams' backfield.
Williams has handled 54 carries for 294 yards this season, good for 5.4 yards per attempt and 73.5 rushing yards per game. He went for 80 yards on 16 carries last week and scored twice.
Buffalo is a pretty nice matchup. Not only does the 54.5-point total create an over-friendly environment, but the Bills are allowing 116.0 rushing yards per game.
The game script is another positive. Los Angeles is favored at home, creating a scenario in which Williams could get plenty of second-half work if the Rams are playing from ahead or in a close game.
Williams has averaged 5.4 yards per carry and needs only modest volume to get beyond this number. At 68.5 yards, I'm backing the over.
Dalton Kincaid Under 55.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Dalton Kincaid - Receiving Yds
For our final prop, let's fade Dalton Kincaid in a difficult matchup.
Kincaid has produced an impressive 270 receiving yards through four games, but those numbers have come on only 19 targets. That efficiency is going to be difficult to maintain, and last week's usage was particularly concerning: Kincaid saw just two targets, catching one pass for seven yards.
The matchup doesn't make a bounce-back performance especially appealing. LA has allowed just 145.5 passing yards per game, the lowest mark in the NFL.
Buffalo also has several other options competing for opportunities. Khalil Shakir is coming off an eight-target game while Keon Coleman saw seven targets and turned them into six catches for 116 yards last week. And D.J. Moore has been productive when he’s been able to stay on the field.
Kincaid certainly possesses big-play ability, but asking him to reach 57 receiving yards against one of the league's stingiest pass defenses is a tall order. I'll take the under.
