Blue Jays give Daniel Vogelbach a breather on Friday

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Dan Vogelbach is not starting in Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers.

Vogelbach will watch from the bench in Detroit after Justin Turner was named as Toronto's designated hitter.

On 33 batted balls this season, Vogelbach has recorded a .233 expected average and a 6.1% barrel rate.
