When Is MLB Opening Day 2024? Dates, Locations, Betting Odds, and How to Watch

Spring Training is winding down as all 30 MLB teams prepare to start the regular season in the coming days. If you're looking to watch or bet on the upcoming season, we have the dates, times, and baseball odds you need to know.

When Does the 2024 MLB Season Start?

The 2024 MLB season will kick off as the San Diego Padres play a two-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. The Seoul Series will take place on Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21. These will be the first MLB games ever to be played in South Korea.

All other MLB teams will play a week later on MLB Opening Day—Thursday, March 28, 2024.

2024 MLB Opening Day Schedule

The Los Angeles Angels and Baltimore Orioles will start the festivities in Baltimore at 3:05 pm ET. There will be games played throughout the day, ending with Colorado Rockies vs Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox vs Seattle Mariners — both scheduled for 10:10pm ET.

Both the New York Mets vs. Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves games have been moved to Friday, March 29th, due to the weather.

How to Watch MLB Opening Day

Fans can tune in via their region's affiliated sports network. Some of Opening Day will also be available on ESPN.
