Verdict

RETURN OF THE MACH (9) flew home from the tail of the field last start over 6f, missing out by a length on the line. The form has worked out well from that event and she lands here with a much better draw and the Blinkers on first time. Expecting sharp improvement now, and that can see her coming out on top. TALKAWAY (10) was also sound first-up, coming through a strong form race over 5f here 24 days ago. Two winners and a placegetter have come out of it from just 4 starters since. While she has drawn wide, she tends to get back in the run anyway and can storm home over the top. BLAZING GUN (7) has shown promising signs at the trials this time in work and Brad Parnham sticks from those trials. Needs a touch of luck from the draw but can put his best foot forward. ROCK THE MARKET (13) trialled sharply most recently at Belmont and the booking of CJP is a strong push for her chances. CLASSIC POETRY (8) never got into it first-up but is better than that. Can atone.
