SMILE THRIVE (7) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7 ½f at Kawasaki. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TAKENO ROYAL (2) started at $4.90 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 8 lengths at Kawasaki over 7f. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. KEN BLENHEIM (11) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 7f at this track, beaten a neck. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. MIYAKONO TIARA (5) finished 13th at the second run back from a break in a 1m contest at Kawasaki last time out. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
