EDGE (11) sets the standard after justifying odds-on support with a four-length win at Ohi over 6f, and his three-start record of one win and two placings gives him the cleanest profile. The rise to 7f is the obvious question, but he has done little wrong. HUBSCH (9) appeals as the main danger after being beaten only a head here five weeks ago, with his broader record of two wins and three placings from seven starts reading well for this grade. LITTLE DEVIL (12) is another genuine winning chance, bringing strong Ohi consistency and proven 7f form, although he was beaten six lengths when second last start. SHINE BLAST (14) resumes from a long absence, which tempers confidence, but a debut win by six lengths and a later third from two starts make him too good to dismiss.
