BART BENTLEY (1) didn't miss by much as runner-up two back then gave a good sight at this venue last week, leading and sticking on to go under by 3.2m. Reaching peak fitness now and has the speed to take advantage of the inside draw. MAHINDI (9) registered yet another strong performance last time when she battled on for third at this circuit and distance, adding to a string of recent minor placings. Draws on the back line this time but enjoys a class drop. FIFTY THREE STARS (2) has been a model of consistency of late and added to a string of wins and placings last time out, scoring by more than 9 metres at Redcliffe. Has the benefit of a good draw so he is capable of another big performance. Ignore the latest result of ALTA SENSATION (3) when held up. Runner-up in his previous two outings here and draws lower so is worth another chance.
