TO THE NINES (11) went back last start then worked home in good style to finish just 1.75 metres from the winner in second at this track over 1 ¹/16m, that run following his second at the same circuit two runs back. Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw but has the talent to take this out. NEVS DREAM (5) scored two starts back at this venue then followed that with a dominant win last start over 1 ¹/16m here, getting home by 16 metres after taking an early lead. That latest effort is good enough to win a race of this calibre. RONZEL MICKY (1) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid third at this course over 1 ¹/16m. Hard to find fault. WILLIAMS (3) broke last start and finished a distant last over 1 5/16m at Shepparton. Has the benefit of a good draw. Meets a similar line up so if he behaves a better run is likely.
