The recent form of TOMAHAWK BART (1) may not leap off the page but has has been tackling higher-graded races than this since switching from Victoria so will enjoy the class drop. He is also well served by the ace draw so has winning claims. WESTERN STYLE (3) drew wide and was held up last time but did a good job in filling a minor placing at the previous appearance at this circuit and distance, coming from wider than this to go under by 1.6m. Has the benefit of a good draw so could bounce back. SPIRIT OF ARION (5) has been far from disgraced form wider barriers at his last couple and could be competitive here. CLEAR LEFT (6) came from this barrier to place at Penrith three back and has been solid in finishing fourth from back row draws in both outings since. Go well.
