CASUAL CONNECTION (5) has a habit of bobbing up in this sort of race at a price. Decent effort last start when he boxed on gamely to be beaten just 1.4 lengths over 1 ½m at the Kensington track. Up in grade but gets in nicely after Stanley's allowance. Can win coming back to this more suitable trip. CORMAC T (9) heads a strong Neasham/Archibald contingent. Returned with a commendable third over 7 ¾f at Canterbury last time out. Goes well second-up and this is his right trip. Must be respected. KOSUKE (17) made a mid-race move to find the lead then wilted near home over 1 ½m at the Kensington track recently. That was a glimpse of form and enough to suggest he can be a nuisance here at a big price. OUR BAMBINO (13) brings excellent country form to the table. Boasts a strong record at this trip and makes plenty of appeal carrying just 52kgs. SUN GOD (3) put the writing on the wall last start and looks a threat with blinkers on for the first time.
