Falcons vs. Saints Props Today: 3 Best NFL Picks, Player Prop Bets for MNF

Falcons vs Saints MNF Prop Bets at a Glance
- Tyler Shough Over 16.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
- Drake London Over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
- Chris Olave Over 85.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Week 4 of the NFL season wraps up with an NFC South matchup as the New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
Both teams enter at 1-2, but there are reasons to expect some offense in this matchup. New Orleans has leaned heavily on Tyler Shough and the passing game while Atlanta looked much more dangerous offensively with Michael Penix Jr. back under center in last week's win over Green Bay. The Falcons' defense has also been far easier to attack through the air than on the ground, setting up some appealing opportunities in the prop market.
Using the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook as a guide, let's check out three of the best bets for Falcons-Saints on Monday night.

Falcons vs Saints Player Props, Picks for Monday Night Football
Tyler Shough Over 16.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
Tyler Shough - Rushing Yds
Tyler Shough‘s legs give us an appealing angle in a matchup where running backs could have trouble finding room.
Through three games, Shough has accumulated 67 rushing yards on 14 carries, good for 22.3 rushing yards per game. He flashed his ceiling last week when he broke off a 36-yard run against Las Vegas.
The Atlanta Falcons have been outstanding against traditional rushing attacks, allowing only 47.7 rushing yards per game entering Monday. That could force the New Orleans Saints to rely more heavily on Shough's arm while also creating opportunities for him to scramble when plays break down.
Quarterback rushing yardage can be volatile because kneel-downs count against the total, but Shough doesn't need a massive rushing workload to get to 17-plus rush yards. He's averaging nearly 4.8 yards per carry through his first three games, and his combination of designed movement and scrambling ability makes the over enticing at 16.5 yards.
Drake London Over 79.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Drake London - Receiving Yds
Drake London reminded everyone of his ceiling last week.
With Michael Penix Jr. back under center, London erupted for 194 receiving yards on nine receptions and 10 targets against Green Bay. He now has 274 receiving yards through three games, averaging 91.3 per contest (a number heavily skewed by last week’s huge outing).
The volume is encouraging, but the quarterback situation might be the biggest reason to back this bet. Atlanta struggled offensively while Penix was sidelined, and his return immediately helped unlock the passing attack.
New Orleans has allowed 211.7 passing yards per game along with six passing touchdowns through three contests. London's 78.5-yard receiving prop asks him to finish below both his season-long average and the level he showed with Penix last week.
With London firmly established as Atlanta's top option, another heavy-target game should give him a good chance to clear this number.
Chris Olave Over 85.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Chris Olave - Receiving Yds
We'll attack the Falcons’ secondary with the final wager.
Chris Olave has been one of the NFL's most productive receivers to begin the season. He's turned 36 targets into 27 receptions, 375 yards, and a touchdown through three games. That works out to a huge 125.0 receiving yards per game.
His workload has also been extremely encouraging. Olave saw 13 targets last week against Las Vegas and finished with nine receptions for 107 yards.
Now he draws an Atlanta defense that has surrendered 263.0 passing yards per game, the 29th-ranked mark in the NFL entering Monday. The Falcons have also given up six passing touchdowns while generating just one interception. The Falcons will also be sans top corner AJ Terrell Jr.
Atlanta's strength against the run could actually help this bet. If New Orleans struggles to establish its ground game — something that’s very possible with Travis Etienne out — Shough should once again be asked to throw at a high rate. He has already attempted 132 passes through three games, including 91 completions, and Olave has accounted for 36 of those targets.
At 85.5 yards, we're getting a number nearly 40 yards below Olave's season average in a friendly spot for New Orleans’ passing game.
NFL Betting Frequently Asked Questions
What Is a Point Spread in NFL Betting?
The point spread is designed to account for the difference in strength between two teams. A favorite must win by more than the listed spread for a bet on that team to cash, while an underdog can either win outright or lose by fewer points than the spread.
What Are NFL Player Prop Bets?
Player props allow bettors to wager on an individual player's performance rather than the final result of the game. Common NFL props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns, and quarterback completions.
What Are the Best Bets for Falcons vs. Saints on Monday Night Football?
Our favorite Falcons-Saints bets include Tyler Shough Over 16.5 rushing yards, Drake London Over 78.5 receiving yards, and Chris Olave Over 85.5 receiving yards. Shough's rushing prop is especially intriguing given his mobility and Atlanta's ability to limit traditional rushing attacks.
