College Football Player Props for This Week
Cole Tabb Over 51.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Texas Tech at Cincinnati — 12:00 p.m. ET
Cole Tabb - Rushing Yds
Cole Tabb's role in the Cincinnati Bearcats‘ backfield has grown considerably, and his efficiency makes the over at this line appealing.
Tabb has accumulated 448 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns on only 49 carries this season. That's a massive 9.1 yards per attempt. He was especially impressive last week, turning 15 carries into 118 yards and 2 touchdowns against West Virginia. He also caught four passes for 51 yards and another score, giving him three total touchdowns in the game.
The 15 carries were particularly encouraging. Tabb began the season behind Gi'Bran Payne in Cincinnati's backfield, but it's becoming increasingly difficult for the Bearcats to keep the more explosive runner off the field. Prior to last week's performance, Tabb was already among the Big 12 leaders in yards per carry.
While the Texas Tech Red Raiders are a difficult matchup, we don't need anything close to Tabb’s season-long efficiency to get home here, and Cincy may lean on the run to try to keep Texas Tech’s offense on the sideline.
DJ Vonnahme Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Iowa at Minnesota — 3:30 p.m. ET
Dj Vonnahme - Receiving Yds
DJ Vonnahme has become a dependable piece of the Iowa Hawkeyes‘ passing attack, and 37.5 receiving yards remains a manageable number.
Vonnahme has recorded 18 receptions for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns in five appearances, putting him at 43.8 receiving yards per game. More importantly for this bet, he's topped 37.5 yards in four of those five outings. His game-by-game yardage totals are 42, 25, 44, 64, and 44 yards.
His role has also translated against Big Ten competition. Vonnahme is averaging 50.7 receiving yards per game in three conference appearances, and he enters Saturday having posted at least 44 yards in three straight games.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers‘ ability to defend the run could actually help us. The Golden Gophers have held four of their six opponents below 80 rushing yards, potentially forcing Iowa to lean more heavily on its passing game than it typically wants to.
Vonnahme doesn't need a huge target total to get there, either. He has averaged 12.2 yards per reception this season, so he’s capable of making chunk plays.
Aiden Flora Over 74.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Iowa State at Arizona — 7:30 p.m. ET
Aiden Flora - Rushing Yds
Aiden Flora's workload makes his rushing over particularly attractive.
Flora has handled at least 12 carries in each of the Iowa State Cyclones‘ last five games, including 17, 22, and 13 attempts over his last three. He's turned those opportunities into some huge performances, rushing for 194 yards against Bowling Green, 212 against West Virginia, and 86 against BYU.
Overall, Flora has amassed 680 rushing yards across six games. Even if we remove his two monster performances against Bowling Green and West Virginia, he has still reached at least 86 yards in two of his other four games.
His recent workload might be the biggest selling point. Flora has averaged 17.3 carries over Iowa State's last three games, and the Cyclones enter this matchup against the Arizona Wildcats dealing with injuries in their receiving corps. That gives Iowa State another reason to build its offense around Flora and the ground game.
At 74.5 yards, he doesn't need another huge eruption. Something close to the workload he's received recently should give him a strong opportunity to get past this number.
Re'Shaun Sanford II Over 43.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Houston at Utah — 10:15 p.m. ET
Re'Shaun Sanford II - Rushing Yds
We're staying up late for the final prop.
Re'Shaun Sanford II has emerged as Houston's primary ball carrier, entering Saturday with 440 rushing yards on 84 attempts. That's 5.2 yards per carry, and he's received at least 17 carries in three of Houston's last four games.
Those three higher-volume performances resulted in 120, 62, and 90 rushing yards. Sanford was held to 36 yards on 9 carries against Oklahoma State last week, but the limited workload stands out more than the efficiency. He still averaged 4.0 yards per attempt.
Utah represents a significantly more difficult matchup. The Utes rank ninth nationally in EPA per rush allowed, so this isn't a bet based on finding a soft opposing run defense.
Instead, it's largely a volume-versus-line wager. Sanford needs only 44 yards, and Houston has demonstrated a willingness to give him 17-plus carries when the game script cooperates. Even against an excellent Utah defense, 12 carries at Sanford's season-long 5.2-yard average would easily clear this number.
The Cougars are also producing 485.1 total yards and 39.3 points per game, so this is an offense capable of sustaining enough drives to keep Sanford involved.
If Houston can avoid falling behind by multiple scores early, Sanford should have enough opportunities to make a run at the over.

College Football Prop Betting FAQ
What are college football player props?
Player props are wagers based on an individual player's performance rather than the final score of the game. Common examples include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, touchdowns, and completions.
What should you look for when betting college football player props?
Usage and matchup are two of the biggest factors. Bettors should consider snap share, carries, targets, quarterback tendencies, game script, opponent strength, and whether a player's recent production is supported by a consistent workload.
Are college football player props available for every game?
No. Sportsbooks typically offer more player props for nationally televised games and matchups involving major programs, while smaller games may have fewer markets available. Also, college player props are not allowed in some states where sports betting is legal.
