There are plenty of roster decisions that need to be made each week in fantasy football, including potential trades.

On one hand, it can be extremely beneficial to buy-low on a certain player via trade before they see a positive change in usage or experience a breakout performance. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, there are also players to consider trading away while their value is potentially at its peak.

With last week in the books, which players should we consider selling-high in fantasy football before this week's games take place?

Sell High Candidates in Fantasy Football

D'Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears

D'Andre Swift is my favorite sell-high candidate after Week 1. He put up 32.4 PPR points on 18 carries for 124 yards and three rushing touchdowns, but the three scores are doing a lot of the work. He had just one target.

The scary part is that the Chicago Bears‘ offense just might be the best in the NFL this season, but that’s another factor that is driving up Swift’s value.

I’d be willing to move him while his Week 1 box score is fresh in everyone's mind.

David Montgomery, RB, Houston Texans

David Montgomery is an especially interesting sell-high candidate after scoring three touchdowns in his Houston Texansdebut.

The biggest concern is how inefficient he was as a runner. Montgomery averaged just 3.0 yards per carry on his 20 rushing attempts, meaning he needed a heavy workload and TD luck to produce that big fantasy outing. He got both of those things in Week 1, but if the efficiency doesn’t pick up, Woody Marks could start eating into Montgomery’s volume.

Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers

Chuba Hubbard finished with 23.7 PPR points on only 10 carries and three targets. He scored twice, including once as a receiver, despite handling a relatively modest workload.

That kind of efficiency and touchdown production isn’t sustainable, so if another manager views his Week 1 fantasy total as evidence that he's firmly back among the top running backs, I’d be willing to move Chuba — especially since I’m not expecting many more 30-point games from the Carolina Panthers‘ offense.
