Baseball has you covered if you want a large inventory of options to bet.
From moneylines to run totals to first-five-inning wagers, we have plenty of ways to bet the long, arduous MLB schedule daily. Outlooks can be vastly different due to starting pitchers, and a wealth of advanced stats can let us know if an individual pitcher, a bullpen, or a team is due for positive -- or negative -- regression.
Using numberFire's projections as a guide, which MLB odds from FanDuel Sportsbook are most appealing today?

MLB Betting Picks
Cleveland Guardians at Cincinnati Reds, 7:10 p.m. ET
Guardians -1.5 (+146)
A summer tradition of the Buckeye State, the Cleveland Guardians (43-22) and Cincinnati Reds (32-35) have officially kicked off the 2024 Ohio Cup. On Tuesday, Cleveland outlasted Cincinnati by a score of 5-3. Going forward, what should we expect for Game 2?
The projected starters on Wednesday at the Great American Ball Park are Tanner Bibee and lefty Nick Lodolo. Bibee owns a sharp 3.45 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) to this point while Lodolo has compiled a 3.54 xFIP.
I like the Guardians to cover the run line (+146 odds) for a second-straight evening in Cincy.
For 2024, Cleveland has been far better offensively when compared to their rivals from down Interstate-71, sporting a .719 team OPS (10th in MLB). From there, the Guardians have scored 5.08 runs per game.
Largely, the Reds have struggled in the batter's box this season. They've plated just 4.34 runs per game so far. From there, Cincinnati's .227 team batting average is the lowest on the Senior Circuit.
Notably, Cleveland (38-27 ATS) has been one of the top run-line groups in MLB, covering the spread at 58.5% clip. With that, I am on the side from Lake Erie's shores.
For added comfort, the MLB power rankings at numberFire have the Guardians (0.82 nERD) 9th overall, which is six positions higher than the Reds (0.13 nERD).
Los Angeles Angels at Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 p.m. ET
Angels Moneyline (+126)
Interleague is the name of the game on Wednesday, and a bid between the Los Angeles Angels (25-41) and Arizona Diamondbacks (32-35) has caught my eye. The D-backs will have the benefit of hosting here, as the Halos will dawn upon Chase Field.
The probable pitchers this evening in downtown Phoenix are Jose Soriano and Slade Cecconi. Of the two right-handed hurlers, Soriano has been a bit stronger in 2024, posting a 3.95 SIERA. Cecconi (4.64 SIERA) has surrendered 2.18 HR/9, which has not fared well at Chase Field's lofty confines (elevation: 1,100 feet).
Giving an edge to the road pitcher, I like the Angels' moneyline listing at FanDuel Sportsbook (+126 odds). The side from Anaheim has struggled this year, but a recent sweep of the San Diego Padres has given the Halos extra pep.
Behind the starters, neither bullpen is particularly good here. The Angels' relief group has allowed a 1.35 WHIP while Arizona's 'pen is worse at 1.42 WHIP.
Despite a poor record, the Angels' offense has not been completely terrible. They're lower than the D-backs (.714 OPS), but LAA currently shows a .687 team OPS (17th).
Lastly, the Halos have been better when playing away from Orange County. They are 11-14 on the road versus 11-23 at home.
numberFire and ESPN Analytics give the Angels a 46.3% and a 47.6% chance, respectively, at victory tonight, which presents some value at these +126 odds (44.3% implied probability).
Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Dodgers, 10:10 p.m. ET
Over 8.5 Runs (-104)
After foolishly taking the under here last night, I am ready to make adjustments for Wednesday's romp between the Texas Rangers (31-35) and Los Angeles Dodgers (42-26).
FanDuel lists tonight's total at 8.5 runs (-104/-118) on a clear night in the Southland.
For the starting pitchers, we should anticipate seeing Walker Buehler and Jon Gray on the mound at Dodger Stadium. Buehler (5.53 FIP) is making his seventh start of 2024 after returning from Tommy John surgery earlier in the campaign. For Texas, Gray carries a 3.94 xERA right now, but that could balloon after a date with the Dodgers.
The "Boys in Blue" have wielded the top offensive attack for majority of the season. LAD is rolling behind many impressive figures, such as a .779 team OPS, .340 wOBA, and 346 total runs scored -- all of which are top marks in MLB.
The Dodgers lit up Texas for 15 runs on Tuesday, charging nine of them to the Ranger relievers. Of course, Texas' bullpen has struggled in 2024, showing a 4.80 ERA: fourth-worst in baseball.
