NFL Week 4 Player Prop Bets

Zay Flowers Under 68.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Titans vs. Ravens (1 p.m. ET)

Zay Flowers - Receiving Yds

Zay Flowers Under

Zay Flowers has been amazing when he’s been on the field this year, and the Baltimore Ravens have a delightful matchup against the Tennessee Titans this week. That makes this under a scary bet, but I think it’s the right side to be on.

Flowers has yet to play a fully healthy game this season. He exploded out of the gates in Week 1 with 150 yards at the Indianapolis Colts but exited early due to injury. He then sat Week 2 before playing in a limited role in Week 3, logging a 33% snap rate (and still going for 84 yards).

Flowers might still be held back some this week, and with Baltimore an 11.5-point favorite over Tennessee, the Ravens probably don’t need to fully unleash Flowers this week. Plus, the game will likely lead to a run-heavy script for the Ravens in the second half.

All in all, I’m willing to roll the dice on the under.

Romeo Doubs Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Patriots vs. Bills (1 p.m. ET)

Romeo Doubs - Receiving Yds

Romeo Doubs Over

Romeo Doubs to reach at least 40 receiving yards is my favorite player prop this week.

While it doesn’t feel good to rely on Drake Maye right now, I think this is a pretty attainable number for Doubs.

The New England Patriots are 6.5-point road ‘dogs at the Buffalo Bills and should have to go to the air to keep pace with Buffalo’s offense. We’ve seen that play out for the Bills’ opponents this year as Buffalo has surrendered the second-most receiving yards per game to WRs (192.0).

With A.J. Brown out, Doubs has played 67% and 73% of the snaps the previous two games. He has seen just four targets in each of those contests but amassed yardage totals of 49 and 96 yards, with a 63-yard gain boosting his output in the 96-yard day.

With WRs faring well against the Bills and New England probably needing to be aggressive offensively, I’m also intrigued by Doubs to get 50+ (+142) yards in the alternate market.

Ashton Jeanty Under 81.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)

Chiefs vs. Raiders (4:25 p.m. ET)

Ashton Jeanty - Rushing + Receiving Yds

Ashton Jeanty Under

It’s been a rough start to the season for Ashton Jeanty and the Las Vegas Raiders‘ run game. It might get worse on Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Through three weeks, Jeanty is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry. His average of 68.7 rushing yards per game doesn’t look too bad, but he’s needed a whopping 21.0 rushing attempts per game to get there. It’s not all Jeanty’s fault as he’s got just 1.6 yards before contact per carry, but he’s also been credited with only four broken tackles this year.

I don’t think it’s crazy to suggest that he might start losing touches to Mike Washington, who is averaging 6.8 yards per rush on 15 carries.

Jeanty has, however, added 32.3 receiving yards per game, so he’s averaging 101.0 rushing plus receiving yards per game. The market clearly thinks he’s going to be below that average, and I agree.

The Chiefs have been stingy on D through three games, permitting the third-fewest yards per play overall (4.7) and ranking in the top eight for fewest rushing yards and fewest catches allowed to RBs.

In a bad matchup against an elite defense and struggling mightily in the efficiency department, Jeanty should have a hard time clearing 81.5 rushing plus receiving yards unless he’s able to pop for a big play.
