New York won Game 1, 91-75, behind 34 points and 12 rebounds from Breanna Stewart. The Liberty shot 13-of-25 from three and held Minnesota to 75 points.

The result also continued New York’s recent success in this matchup. The Liberty beat Minnesota 93-81 on September 18, then followed it with another double-digit win in Game 1. New York now gets Game 2 at home with an opportunity to close out the series.

Breanna Stewart 10+ Rebounds (+114)

Stewart has been especially strong on the glass recently, recording 10 or more rebounds in three of her last four games. That includes 10 rebounds against Minnesota on September 18 and 12 more in Game 1 of this series.
